It’s Draft Day, folks!

The top four of the draft should almost be guaranteed at this point, with the Titans selecting quarterback Cam Ward with the first selection. Following Ward, Travis Hunter, and Abdul Carter should and will be the next two selections to the Browns and Giants in that order. After the Patriots draft any offensive lineman at four, the fifth pick is when the draft will likely start with the Jaguars, and what they do.
Ashton Jeanty has been the guy that many teams want, and for good reason, as he had one of the best college seasons of all time this past year. New Jacksonville head coach Liam Coen is a big offense guy, and he would love Jeanty. After that, I have the Jets and Panthers going with expected picks Armand Membou and Jalon Walker, and then at pick nine, I have Shedeur Sanders going to the Saints.
Derek Carr is banged up and unlikely to play in 2025, and Sanders is the next-best quarterback prospect available. I think this is quite a reach for Sanders, but teams need quarterbacks.
The Eagles’ top rival, the Cowboys, need wide receiver help, and Matthew Golden is a fantastic prospect from the University of Texas and would be a great acquisition for them. Do it all prospect Tyler Warren will likely be the first tight end off the board, and the Colts need a tight end.
After that, I have notable guys that the Eagles could draft, like Walter Nolan out of Ole Miss and Donovan Ezeiruaku out of Boston College, who are going to the Vikings and Commanders.
I believe multiple front-seven players that the Eagles like will be off the board come pick 32, but safety is also another big need for the Birds. I think that the team may have to trade up a bit, but Malaki Starks seems like the guy for the Eagles. Starks is a ballhawk safety with incredible football IQ who could complete the Eagles’ secondary after trading C.J. Gardner-Johnson.
While my draft will 100% not be correct, we’ll see how much I get correct and what teams will make the big surprise pick of the night.
