With the 207th pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles selected guard Micah Morris, out of the University of Georgia. The Eagles acquired this pick, as well as picks 251 and 252, after trading pick No. 197 to the Los Angeles Rams.

Morris stands at 6’4, weighing 330 lbs, and spent his entire college career at Georgia, helping the Bulldogs win back-to-back National Championships back in 2021 and 2022. He was mainly a rotational player on special teams during those two seasons, but in 2023, he began seeing heightened playing time as the sixth offensive lineman for Georgia, getting playing time at guard and tackle and in certain six-lineman sets.

The following year, he made five starts at right guard and returned for his redshirt senior season, where he moved to left guard and was the only Georgia offensive lineman to start every game for the Bulldogs last season. His fantastic 2025 earned him second-team All-SEC honors.

Morris is a freakishly strong prospect, recording 29 bench press reps at the combine while also running a 5.09 40 time. His strength and speed are the big positives for Morris, but he lacks truly great technique, and his hands are something that could be improved at the next level.

Guard may be a position that the Eagles may have to improve more quickly than they hoped, as the current starting left guard, Landon Dickerson, considered retirement this offseason but agreed to return for 2026. Morris will need time to develop, so he won’t be replacing Dickerson anytime soon, but with the right development from new offensive line coach, Chris Kuper, he could help him be a starter in the NFL.
