The Eagles took down the Packers 22-10 in front of a raucous 69,879 at Lincoln Financial Field Sunday evening.
Now, next week, an opponent from the west will take on the crowd at Linc in the NFC Divisional Round.
With the Rams’ 27-9 victory over the Vikings at State Farm Stadium on Monday night, they will travel to Philadelphia to play the Eagles in the Divisional round.
The 14-3 Eagles finished as the two-seed, while the Rams won the NFC South, coming in as the four-seed. They will play on Sunday at 3:00 ET and air on NBC.
The Eagles and Rams met back in Week 12 at SoFi Stadium, where the Eagles ran their way to a 37-20 victory. Saquon Barkley had 28 carries for a career-high 255 yards, averaging 9.8 yards per run, two touchdowns of 70 and 72 yards, and four receptions for 47 yards, adding up to a total of 302 total yards. Barkley obliterated the single-game Eagles rushing record of 217 yards set by LeSean McCoy in the Snow Bowl in 2013 and 296 total yards by Duce Staley in 2000. Jalen Hurts was 15/22 with 179 yards, and A.J. Brown made six receptions for 109 yards and a touchdown as DeVonta Smith was out with an injury. Matthew Stafford threw for 243 yards on 24 completions, with Puka Nacua recording 117 yards on nine receptions.
The Eagles and Rams have met in the postseason three times. The Eagles beat the Rams in the 1949 NFL Championship to become back-to-back champions. The other was in the 1989 Wild Card game at Veterans Stadium and the 2002 NFC Championship Game in St. Luis. The Rams won both of those games.
The Eagles and Rams had just two common opponents this season the Packers and Saints.
Philadelphia swept with the Packers in Week 1 and the Wild Card, and beat the Saints by three in Week 3.
Los Angeles lost to the Packers by five but defeated the Saints by seven.
The only big injury the Eagles suffered against the Packers was Nakobe Dean, who was carted into the locker room in the first half and was seen with crutches and a leg brace on postgame.
The Eagles open as 6.5 point favorites.
