Phillies reinstate Kyle Schwarber, Bryce Harper from 10-day injured list

The Phillies’ lineup is nearly back in full function.
The Phillies reinstated Kyle Schwarber and Bryce Harper from the 10-day injured list on Tuesday afternoon. To make room on the 26-man roster, David Dahl was designated for assignment and Kody Clemens was optioned to triple-A Lehigh Valley.
Schwarber and Harper have both been out since June 28, when Harper strained his hamstring on the final play of the game and Schwarber strained his groin in the same game.
The Phils went 5-4 without them. They had to play .500 ball, and they did that.
Harper was batting .303 with 20 homers, 58 RBI, and a .981 OPS before he hit the IL. He won the National League Player of the Month in May and June. Harper said he knows he needs to “not throw the cloak on” these final few games before the All-Star Break so he is healthy going forward. He is set to start the All-Star Game for the NL at first base next Wednesday in Arlington.
Schwarber is coming off another good month of June, where he batted .267 with 6 home runs and 14 RBI in 23 games. Throughout the season he is batting .250 with a .373 OBP and leads the NL with 59 walks.
J.T. Realmuto is the final piece still missing. He is set to return from arthroscopic knee surgery after the All-Star break.
