Joel Embiid Avoids Injury in Win Against Magic

The 76ers won a massive game on Friday night against Orlando, winning 125-113.
This is Philadelphia’s 7th straight win and it was their biggest game of the season due to the major Playoff/Play-in implications.
Joel Embiid went down just before the half ended, but luckily returned in the 2nd half. Injuries have been terrible for Embiid recently, especially in the Playoffs. Hopefully, history doesn’t repeat itself and Embiid can stay healthy for once in the most important time of the year.
This game had massive playoff implications. The Sixers’ win against Orlando now means that should they win against Brooklyn on Sunday, they just need either the Pacers or the Magic to lose in order to snag the 6 seed in the East and avoid the Play-In Tournament.
It is well known that Miami is not a team you want to play in the postseason, even if they are a low seed. Jimmy Butler is a different breed when it comes to the big game.
