For the first time in 63 days, Joel Embiid played a game for the Philadelphia 76ers and it was one to remember.

Philadelphia took down the Oklahoma City Thunder 109-105 in an incredibly important game for seeding as the playoffs are just about 2 weeks away.

Embiid had 24 points, 6 rebounds, and 7 assists in his first game since January 30th. His conditioning seemed to be affected by his absence, as Embiif huffed and puffed throughout the final few minutes of the 4th. His shot seemed to be a little off and things were a little shaky, but for not playing in multiple months his statline was plenty fine.

Kelly Oubre Jr. continued his reign of scoring dominance with a 25-point performance on Tuesday night. He has been what the Sixers paid Tobias Harris to do and is doing it on a veteran minimum contract. Oubre is been dominant and is doing exactly what he needs to do to elevate this team.

Tuesday’s game against the Thunder made the Sixers just 1.5 games behind the 7-seeded Heat and 2 games behind the 6-seeded Pacers. If Philly wants to avoid the Play-In Tournament, they’re going to need to go on an absolute tear in these final 6 games.

The good news? The Sixers take on the Heat on Thursday in the most important game of the season to date.
