Why The Eagles Will Lose To The Seahawks On Monday Night Football
The Philadelphia Eagles will face off Monday against the Seattle Seahawks in the Eagles final prime time game of the season. It’s another tough game for the Birds as they’ll be going up against a future Hall Of Famer QB Russel Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks.
When I think about who’s going to win a football game. I immediately think about the teams, as any normal person would do. For the Eagles. Again, for maybe the third season in a row, there are two different Eagles teams in one team. There’s the good team, and the bad team. As Eagles fans, we’ve seen more bad than good in this 2020 season. I think the only good we’ve seen was week 4 against the San Francisco 49ers, the second-half of week 6 against the Baltimore Ravens, and the second half of week sevens’ game against the New York Giants. The Eagles are 2-1 in the games I just listed. The Eagles are really bad this season, and anyone can see that. I don’t think the Eagles are gonna put up a fight on Monday night.
The Seahawks on the other hand are pretty good. The Seahwaks have a record of 7-3, which compared to the Eagles’ 3-6-1, is pretty good. I don’t really think the Eagles have a chance with this star powered Seahawks lineup which includes Russel Wilson, D.K. Metcalf, Jamal Adams, Tyler Lockett, Chris Carson, and more. I the Eagles were to win, it would be a pretty big upset.
The spread for Monday nights game is in favor of the Seahawks at -6. The over-under is 48.5. The money line is Seattle -270 and Philadelphia it’s +230. SO the Sehawks are favored, obviously. The Eagles are 2-2-1 at home and the Seahawks are 2-3 on the road. The Eagles are also 3-0 during night games, and the Sehawks are 3-0 in night games.
Time for my prediction. I think it’s going to be a tough game for the Eagles but I don’t think we see a good Eagles team again. I’ve got Eagles losing to the Seahawks 36-20. I think Wentz will be below average, but not that bad to have to bench him for Hurts. I think the defense will not be good. Overall not a great game for the Birds.
Well, that’s my prediction. I dang hope I’m wrong!
