The Phillies experience an absolutely brutal week. Following Kyle Tucker‘s market-shattering deal with the Dodgers, Bo Bichette slipped right out of the Phils’ hands. He signed a short-term, high-dollar deal with the Mets, which shows the flaws in the Phillies’ offseason strategy.
A few hours later, they panicked and re-signed J.T. Realmuto for the deal he wanted. Now, the Phils enter 2026 not running it back, but putting out a worse roster.
