Phillies-Padres postponed Tuesday, will play doubleheader Wednesday

Game 2 of the Phillies-Padres series on Tuesday night has been postponed due to inclement weather.
The two teams will make it up as part of a split-attendance doubleheader on Wednesday. Game 1 is still slated for the original 1:05 p.m. start time, with gates opening at 11:35 a.m. Game 2 will be at 6:15 p.m., with gates set to open at 5:15 p.m.
Tickets from Tuesday night’s game will be valid for Game 2 on Wednesday night. Tuesday’s fireworks are rescheduled following Game 2.
Mick Abel will start Game 1, going up against Dylan Cease.
Cristopher Sanchez, who was slated to start Tuesday, will be on the mound for the Phils for Game 2, and Nick Pivetta will be on the bump for San Diego.
