It was a disappointing night for the Flyers at this year’s draft lottery.
The Flyers went into the night with a 9.5% chance to get the first overall pick after having the 4th worst record in the NHL this past season, but would wind up falling 2 spots to number 6.
The top 10 in the draft is now:
- New York Islanders
- San Jose Sharks
- Chicago Blackhawks
- Utah Hockey Club
- Nashville Predators
- Philadelphia Flyers
- Boston Bruins
- Seattle Kraken
- Buffalo Sabres
- Anaheim Ducks
The Islanders and Utah Hockey Club were the biggest winners of the night, jumping 9 and 10 spots, respectively.
The names you could expect the Flyers to target could be James Hagens, Anton Frondell, Caleb Desnoyers, Viktor Eklund, Roger McQueen, and many others.
