The Eagles continue to build up their offensive line depth.
With the 191st pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles have selected Myles Hinton, an offensive tackle from the University of Michigan. This is the Eagles’ second offensive line pick of this draft after taking Drew Kendall in the fifth round.
Hinton stands at a staggering 6’7 323 lbs, one of the tallest tackles in the entire draft. He is described as a long-reaching, strong tackle who is dominant in the run game. At the combine, he ran a 4.96 shuttle run, which caused concerns from teams, but he is still a dominant lineman.
During his time in college, Hinton spent three years at Stanford, where he played in 23 games as a Cardinal. Hinton then transferred to Michigan, where during his first season helped the Wolverines win the National Championship. In his final season in Ann Arbor, he started 10 games and was named Honorable Mention All-Big Ten Conference.
This is the second consecutive draft that the Eagles have selected an offensive lineman from Michigan after selecting Trevor Keegan in the fifth round last year.
While he’ll likely not see any player time for the foreseeable future, the Eagles land a player who can learn and develop under the best offensive line coach in football in Jeff Stoutland. Lane Johnson isn’t getting any younger, and who knows, Hinton could find his way into a starting job if he develops well.
