Howie Roseman continues to add to the secondary.

With the 145th pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, Philadelphia added Mac McWilliams, a defensive back from UCF.

The Eagles received this and the 207th pick from the New York Jets in exchange for the 130th pick. New York selected Malchi Moore with this pick.

In his collegiate career, the 5’10”, 185-pound corner started at UAB before transferring to UCF this past season. He was a team captain for UAB in 2023 before starting 11 games in 2024 with the Knights. At UCF, McWilliams had 32 tackles, 6.5 TFLs with 1 sack, 1 INT, 2 PBUs, and a FF.

McWilliams has strengths in his athleticism, toughness, and physicality. He ran a 4.41 40-yard dash at the Combine and ranked 15th in athleticism for all cornerbacks. He is a physical tackler despite his size and makes quick reads on routes in both man and zone. He is low-cut, which allows for quicker change of direction.

The UCF cornerback will fill in where Darius Slay and Isaiah Rodgers were at defensive back. He has the opportunity to earn immediate playing time, as he likely will play as the RCB, where he will be the backup to Kelee Ringo.
