It’s official, the New York Mets own the Philadelphia Phillies.

Utter and complete embarrassment was what was on display from the Philles Wednesday afternoon as the Mets completed a three-game sweep over Philadelphia, walking off the Fightins 4-3 in the finale.

Alec Bohm collected three hits in the loss, extending his hitting streak to 10 games, while Johan Rojas had one hit, his eighth hit in his last six games.

Starling Marte was the hero for the Mets, ripping a walk-off single to center for the win. Brett Baty smacked a two-run home run for his first of the year

In the top of the second, the Phillies threatened to score after back-to-back singles from Bohm and Edmundo Sosa, and Weston Wilson reached base on an error to load the bases with one out. Rojas was up next and flew out to right on the first pitch he saw, and Bohm was unable to score. Trea Turner was up next but grounded out to short to end the inning with no runs.

While the Phillies couldn’t answer in the second, the Mets decided to. Mark Vientos led off the inning with a single, and two batters later, Brett Baty lifted a fly ball to right center field for a two-run bomb to put New York on the board.

Both teams went scoreless in the third, but the Phillies finally got on the board in the fourth. Bohm singled to right for his second hit, and Wilson followed that up with a single of his own to put two runners on. Up came Rojas once again, and this time he came through, smoking a ball up the middle for an RBI single. Turner stepped up for his third at-bat and he singled to right to tie the game at two all.

After allowing the two-run homer to Baty, Wheeler settled in. He finished with nine strikeouts (seven coming after the home run by Baty) over six innings of work, walking only two, and allowing just those two runs. Drew Peterson was pulled in the sixth after allowing eight hits and only striking out two.

As the game moved on, both teams were unable to add any runs and take a lead. Still tied 2-2 in the eighth, the Phillies got a runner in scoring position with two outs after Nick Castellanos walked and eventually moved up to second base. Bryson Stott then came in to pinch-hit for Sosa and walked to put two runners on for Max Kepler.

Kepler smoked a single past the diving second baseman, Luisangel Acuña, into right field. However, as Castellanos rounded third to score, Juan Soto stepped up and fired a bullet to the plate in time to get Castellanos out.

Jose Alvarado came on in relief in the eighth, sending down the Mets in order. The Phillies went down 1-2-3 in their half of the ninth, but the Mets threatened in the bottom half of the inning. Acuna and pinch-hitter Luis Torrens both singled, bringing up Francisco Lindor with a chance to win the game. Alvarado worked around Lindor, getting him to ground out to end the inning and head to extras.

In the 10th, after a strikeout from Kyle Schwarber, Castellanos singled to left to bring in Harper to make it a 3-2 lead for the Phillies. J.T. Realmuto walked, and Bohm singled to load the bases for Stott. Stott lifted a flyball to center, but it wasn’t deep enough for Castellanos to score, and Kepler flied out to right to end the inning.

The Mets then came up to bat, and after one pitch from Jordan Romano, Soto moved Lindor to third thanks to a groundout. Pete Alonso was up next and smoked a double to right center to tie the game at three. Brandon Nimmo was intentionally walked to bring up Vientos, but he struck out. With two outs, Marte blooped a broken bat single to center, scoring Alonso, giving the Mets a 4-3 victory.
