A final sendoff? — Brandon Graham may return for Super Bowl

When Brandon Graham went down with a tricep injury in Week 12 against the Rams, it seemed as if it would be the last time he would put on an Eagles uniform.
However, after having his practice window opened and returning to practice on Thursday, that may not be the case.
Graham, who is coming up on the end of what he said to be his final season, now may have a chance to play in the Super Bowl on February 9th against the Chiefs.
Now, all things considered, this is no guarantee. Graham is still recovering from his torn tricep. Not only is this no guarantee, but this also may not be the direction that Nick Sirianni goes. After all, it would be Graham’s first time playing in almost 3 months, and the Eagles would have to clear a roster spot.
With Nolan Smith playing as well as he has in the home stretch and Josh Sweat and Jalyx Hunt also making their impact felt, it’s hard to imagine Graham would immediately gain his spot back. Sure, BG’s final game of his career being in the Super Bowl would be a storybook, but with as well as his replacements are playing, it may not make sense.
Graham could possibly find a way to muster a few snaps here or there. That would make sense. But to become the full-fledged starter seems a bit excessive for a first-game back.
That being said, BG was coming off of a very good first 11 games, notching 20 tackles and 3.5 sacks in his time on the field. It wouldn’t be a crazy decision to start him on the line against Kansas City,
But let’s not get ahead of ourselves, Graham still has to make it through the next 2 weeks healthy and then we can talk about making a comeback in the Super Bowl.
If BG can get healthy in these final days until the Big One, then he could make history as one of only three Eagles players to ever play in the Super Bowl three times, the other two being Jake Elliott and Rick Lovato. Finishing off his career with a vengeful rematch Super Bowl victory against a familiar foe would be something that very few people, if any, would be able to say.
