Eagles to face Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX, search for redemption

Just two years ago, the Chiefs beat the Eagles 38-35 in Super Bowl LVII.
Now, in two weeks, the Eagles and Chiefs will rematch in Super Bowl LIX.
With the Eagles’ dominant 55-23 victory over the Commanders in the NFC Championship Game, and the Chiefs’ 32-29 win against the Bills at Arrowhead Stadium in the AFC Title Game, the two will face off at the Superdome in New Orleans on Sunday, February 9 at 6:30 p.m. ET, on FOX
The last time these two met was last season when the Eagles came back down 10 in the season half to beat the Chiefs in Kansas City, 21-17. A few weeks later, Phialdelphia’s downward spiral began, where they collapsed and it looked like all hope was lost. Now, a year later, they are playing for the second Super Bowl in franchise history.
We all know who the Chiefs are. They are in their third Super Bowl in three years, led by former Eagles head coach Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Chris Jones, get a lot of help from the referees, have Taylor Swift on their side, and lost just one game this season in which their starters played. However, they did not score over 27 points this season until Sunday against Buffalo and seem to be just squeaking by teams to earn victories.
The Eagles and Chiefs had seven common opponents this season in the Ravens, Bengals, Falcons, Saints, Buccaneers, Panthers, and Steelers.
Philadelphia beat the Ravens by five, dominated the Bengals by 10, fell to the Falcons in Week 2 by one, took down the Saints by three, lost to the Bucs by 17 without A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, beat the Panthers by six, and crushed the Steelers by 14.
Kansas City beat the Ravens by seven in Week 1, snuck by the Bengals by one, beat the Falcons in by five, took down the Saints by 13, beat the Bucs in overtime by six, just got by the Panthers by three, and crushed the Steelers by 29.
The Chiefs open as 1.5 point favorites.
