You want size at WR? Say hello to the 6 foot 6, 231-pound machine from Florida State, Johnny Wilson.

Coming off making Third-team All-ACC honors despite missing 3 games let’s get into what we have in your newest Eagles wideout.

The obvious upside is his size at the position. He’s more than capable of holding his own even against the NFL’s toughest DBs. He’s great at shaking off-tackles and helping gain extra yards, a trait shared by almost all of the NFL’s top WRs today. He will also be able to help Saquon Barkley as FSU helped capitalize off of his great run-blocking skills. He was seen as a 4th-5th round guy so stealing him 6 rounds in gives great value to the selection.

He has had his struggles against press coverage, however. Additionally, he struggles in creating separation and has run into that problem many times on 50/50 balls. He has all the physical attributes but just needs to reign in his talents to be ready for the NFL level. Receivers coach Aaron Moorehead will have a good amount of work to do.
