The Sixers beat the Grizzlies in Memphis 116-96 and extend their win streak to 4 in an impressive showing by Joel Embiid. This is a huge win, keeping Philadelphia in contention for the 6 seed.

Joel Embiid looks to finally be back in shape, putting up a dominant 30 points and shooting 9/13 from the field. Embiid also snagged 12 rebounds while only playing a minimal 23 minutes. If Joel can continue to play at this level for the foreseeable future, it will be difficult for opposing teams to handle this low-seeded 76ers squad.

A common theme that has come up in recent games is when Tobias Harris doesn’t play, the team does well. Granted, this was against a team that had under 20 wins, but a 20-point win is a 20-point win. Harris has been consistently inconsistent and the team tends to play better without him.

Philadelphia has 4 games remaining and is 0.5 games behind the 7 seed and 1 game behind the 6 seed. Should the Sixers get the 6 seed, they would avoid the Play-In Tournament and likely take on the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 1st Round.
