76ers’ forward Kelly Oubre Jr. was hit by a motor vehicle in Center City, Philadelphia outside his residence in the late hours of November 11th, according to Adrian Wojnarowski. He endured injuries that will cause him to miss significant time, though they are not considered season-ending.
Oubre has made a significant impact with the Sixers since his debut this season, putting up 16 points along with 5 rebounds and a steal. He received the starting nod from Nick Nurse after P.J. Tucker’s departure in the James Harden trade and has definitely showed that he deserves his role. This is a crushing blow to Philadelphia and prayers will be up throughout the city for the foreseeable future for their starting forward.
