Phillies and Braves announce NLDS rosters — Phillies up to 13 pitchers

The Phillies have finalized their 2023 National League Division Series roster against the Atlanta Braves with just one change.

Right-handed pitcher Michael Lorenzen is on and outfielder Weston Wilson is off. The Phillies roster is now up to 13 pitchers, the maximum amount teams allowed. Lorenzen will likely work out of the bullpen for the Phillies.

Everything else stays the same from the Wild Card roster. Here is the 26-man Phillies’ Division Series roster:

Just prior to the Phillies’ roster announcement, the Braves announced theirs.

Right-handed pitcher Kyle Wright, who won 20 games last year and dominated the Phillies in last year’s NLDS Game 2, did not make the roster. He did not pitch well after returning from a shoulder injury. Right-handed pitcher Jesse Chavez is also not on the roster. Charlie Morton will miss the series with a right-finger inflammation.
