2023-2024 Philadelphia Eagles Game-By-Game Season Predictions

This Thursday, for the first time in about seven months, football will finally return with the Detroit Lions taking on the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Eagles will start their year on Sunday in Foxborough against New England in a rematch of Super Bowl 52. Can the Eagles bounce back from a devastating Super Bowl loss and bring the Lombardi back to Philly?
We will go game-by-game and see how the season could go:
Week 1: @ New England Patriots-W

The Patriots are coming off of a rather disappointing season, falling short of the playoffs. Bill Belichick will definitely try to bounce back with a Week 1 win against Philadelphia, but I don’t see that happening. Philly will take care of the Pats without much of a problem.
Week 2: vs. Minnesota Vikings-W

The Vikings look to get back into the playoffs like they were last year, and their second game will be likely their toughest of the year. Justin Jefferson will be tough to handle for the Eagles’ defensive backs, but other than that there isn’t much to worry about with Minnesota. The Birds should take down the Vikings with likely at least a 10-point margin.
Week 3: @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers-W

The Buccaneers are in absolute shambles this year. Baker Mayfield at Quarterback, Mike Evans possibly wanting out, and an awful defense are just a few reasons why the Eagles should destroy Tampa Bay and have no issues doing so.
Week 4: vs. Commanders-W

Washington has one of the worst QBs in the NFL in Sam Howell and he doesn’t have many weapons other than Terry McLaurin. Philadelphia’s DL will likely tear up a weak Washington OL. Eagles should win this game, but it’s not gonna be as easy as some people may believe.
Week 5: @ Los Angeles Rams-W

Cooper Kupp and Aaron Donald. That’s the only dangerous part of the Rams. The Eagles should easily beat Los Angeles in LA, in fact, they may even beat them by 2-3 touchdowns. If Philadelphia were to lose this game, it would really expose their weak spots and possibly show that this team isn’t ready for real competition.
Week 6: @ New York Jets-W

Aaron Rodgers is looking to turn the Jets around and bring them back to the playoffs in his first year with them. Garrett Wilson is going to be a threat to the Philadelphia secondary, but likely not enough to make a major impact. The Eagles should win this game and start off the season 6-0.
Week 7: vs. Miami Dolphins-L

Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins could be the first time the Eagles face defeat in the 2023 season as Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill could be too much for Philly to handle. The Dolphins are a promising team this year, and don’t be surprised if they make a playoff push or even make it to the Super Bowl.
Week 8: @ Washington Commanders-W

In 2022, Philadelphia lost their first game of the year against the Commanders in Week 10. This year, the Birds will sweep Terry McLaurin and Washington and show them who owns the East. Although it could be close, the Eagles will win this game.
Week 9: vs. Dallas Cowboys-W

The Dallas Cowboys are looking to shock the Eagles by winning the division this year. It is definitely possible that they can do it, but this game will show them why that likely won’t happen. Philly will beat Dallas in likely one of the most entertaining games of the year.
Week 10: Bye Week
Week 11: @ Kansas City Chiefs-L

The Super Bowl rematch will be one interesting game. Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes fighting against AJ Brown and Jalen Hurts. As much as I want to say the Eagles will get revenge on the Chiefs, I don’t see it happening coming off of the bye week. The Chiefs likely will take down the Birds in a thriller.
Week 12: vs. Buffalo Bills-W

Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs are projected to have monster seasons and the Bills are expected to make it to at least the Divisional Round. This matchup against Philadelphia will be a hard-fought game, especially since Philly will be hungry after losing to Kansas City. It will be a very close game, but the Eagles will win this game.
Week 13: vs. San Francisco 49ers-W

The San Francisco 49ers are looking for revenge against the team that beat them in the NFC Championship game and they will be coming out swinging. The Eagles are going to throw everything they got right back at the Niners and will be victorious, bringing their record to the decade mark at 10-2.
Week 14: @ Dallas Cowboys-W

Dallas is looking to not be swept by the Birds in this game and unfortunately for them, they will be. The stifling defense of Philadelphia will be too much for the maybe a little bit above-average Cowboys offense.
Week 15: @ Seattle Seahawks-L

Seattle has a chance to make a deep playoff run this year, and if they want to show that they are ready, they need to take down (or at least put up a good fight) the Philadelphia Eagles. I believe Seattle will surprise the Eagles with a monster game by Geno Smith, defeating Philly.
Week 16: vs. New York Giants-W

Christmas football will have one of the biggest rivalries in sports history take place in Philadelphia. The New York Giants at this point in the season will be looking to punch themselves a ticket to the Wild Card round, but this will be a step in the wrong direction. Eagles beat the Giants on Christmas.
Week 17: vs. Arizona Cardinals-W

This game will be a matchup against possibly the best team in the NFL against possibly the worst. Johnathon Gannon’s return to Philly will turn sour for Arizona, and the Eagles could very well demolish the Cardinals.
Week 18: @ New York Giants-W

The final game of the NFL season will likely mean something to both the Eagles and the Giants. For the Eagles, they will be trying to solidify themselves as the #1 seed in the NFC. The Giants on the other hand will be going full steam ahead with possibly their season on the line. I believe Philly will hang on to a close victory, taking down New York.
