The offensive line is not known as the most glamorous position in all of football, but Prime Video is making it capturing with this upcoming series.
Jason Kelce will most definitely go down as one of the most beloved players to ever play in Philadelphia. And now, Prime Video is giving fans an opportunity to take a glimpse into his life.
Prime Video released the first look of their upcoming documentary “Kelce.” It will follow the legend throughout the entire 2022 NFL season, including the Super Bowl run.
According to a press release, “Kelce is an intimate and emotional feature-length documentary that chronicles Philadelphia Eagles team captain and All-Pro center Jason Kelce’s 2022 season, which began with him confronting one of the most challenging decisions any professional athlete will ever face—is now the time to hang it up?”
The show is set to release on Prime Video on September 12, two days after the Eagles kick off their season in New England against the Patriots.
The documentary will cover the Eagles’ run to Super Bowl LVII against the Kansas City Chiefs, where Jason faced off against his brother Travis. The two brothers also started their podcast New Heights last season, which also will be featured in the documentary. It will also feature his family life and even retirement talks.
A six-time Pro Bowler and five-time first-team All-Pro selection, the 35-year-old Kelce is set to begin his 13th season in the NFL. He has spent all 13 in Philadelphia after being drafted in the sixth round in 2011.
Two days after the release of the documentary, Kelce and the Eagles will take on the Minnesota Vikings on September 14 in the first Thursday Night Football game on Prime in 2023.
