The Eagles played a rough game but they ended out coming on top.

They were many things that could’ve gone wrong and many things that could have gone better for them. They had many things that were not going the Eagles’ way but when it came down to the wire they showed up and made big plays.

Jalen Hurts Early Struggles Turn Into Late Game Success

Jalen Hurts did not get off to the start he wanted or all the fans wanted. He had a fumble on the first play of the second half that set a bad tone for the third quarter. Then going into the fourth quarter they knew they had to turn things up including Hurts himself.

The fourth quarter was something to remember for this season. The Birds were down by 10 as they entered the fourth. Hurts knew he had to step it up and made sure he was the one to do it. The defense had a hug fumble but they gave it up after AJ Brown had a fumble himself. Hurts later in the quarter threw a touchdown to Quez Watkins which got them within a score. The Eagles have so much faith in their quarterback that there was no doubt they could come back.

The mobile, athletic, versatile quarterback, Jalen Hurts, put the team on his back and took his team down the field, and ran it up the middle for a touchdown which he was untouched! Hurts finished with 190 passing yards and 86 rushing yards. He also had a touchdown on the ground and in the air, as mentioned.

Turnovers Were The Main Sturggle

The Eagles had an offensive struggle today, however, they had times when they could have taken advantage of the Colts’ defensive mistakes. Hurts had an early second-half fumble and Brown had a late-game fumble.

Both of those turnovers were drive-killers. Hurts fumble would’ve been a great time for the Eagles to bounce back and assert their dominance in the second this was simply just not the case. Then AJ Brown’s fumble was right after the Eagles’ defense came up clutch with a great fumble off of running back Johnathan Taylor.

When it mattered most Jalen Hurts stepped up and made the big play. He had several great throws in the second half as well as great scrambles. Quez Watkin’s touchdown was a huge momentum shift and was the true powerhouse to the Eagles’ great comeback.

Can The Eagles Fix Their Early Game Flaws

The Eagles will take on the Packers. Which is a team you cannot take lightly. Aaron Rodgers is a player who can just make things happen. They hope that they figured their offense out against the Dallas Cowboys. They can put points up on the board and can hang with the best offenses in the league.

The Eagles need to get out early against this team and they need to keep the pedal down. They are known to sometimes let off the pedal at the beginning of the game and second half but with this Packers team, they need to put up lots of points and put that pedal down the whole game.
