Rhys Hoskins is currently on an incredible hot streak for the Philadelphia Phillies. He’ll look to continue that Tuesday night in game two of the series vs. the St. Louis Cardinals.
Here’s what to watch:
Red-hot Rhys
Phillies first baseman has been the hottest guy for the team so far this season. He’s hit eight home runs in 22 games this season. Those eight homers as him on top of the MLB in homers.
His last six games have been the most jaw-dropping, though. He’s hit six home runs in those six competitions, with 14 RBI’s. He has a slash line of .261/.293/.614/.907 in his last six games.
Hoskins hit two home runs Monday night in the Phillies’ 2-1 win.
Eflin starts
Zach Eflin will take to the bump for the Phillies. He’s had a great start to the season.
If you want to know a reason why Eflin has been great so far, take a look at his walk count. Eflin has allowed only two walks in 26 innings, one of them being intentional.
Eflin has struck out 19 along with his record of 1-0.
