Flyers beat Rangers 4-3 in first win since Feb 7

The last time the Philadelphia Flyers won a game was Feb 7. They were then shut down due to COVID protocol. They earned their first win in 17 days in a 4-3 win over the New York Rangers.
Here’s a recap as the Flyers snap a two game losing skid:
Period 1
Flyers won the opening faceoff wearing the beautiful Reverse Retro uni’s.
Alexis Lafreniere serving for the Rangers on a too many men on the ice penalty. Rangers killed
Erik Gustafsson with a blast from right point finds the net for his first goal as a Flyer (had one changed to an assist on opening night). Makes it 1-0 Flyers.
Rangers would get a power play as Sean Couturier went off for holding. It would only take a few seconds for Chris Kreider bangs home a rebound for a quick power play goal to tie it up at 1.
Jonny Brodzinski went off for slashing. Flyers would parish the opportunity Shayne Gostisbehere fired home a rebound to give the Flyers the lead on the PPG.
Nicolas Aube-Kubel would head to the box for holding. Flyers killed.
Period stats:
Flyers: 15 shots on goal, 8 hits, 15 faceoffs won, 4 penalty minutes.
Rangers: 9 shots on goal, 10 hits, 7 faceoffs won, 4 penalty minutes.
After one period, Flyers lead 2-1.
Period 2
Brendan Smith would go to the sin bin for hooking. After receiving a beautiful pass by Joel Farabee, James van Riemsdyk tapped the puck in the then net to make it 3-1.
Flyers get another power play as Julien Gauthier goes off for high-sticking. Delay of game on Pavel Buchnevich would be called during the penalty, so 1:38 of five-on-three time for the Flyers. Rangers killed both power plays.
Connor Bunnaman would get called for interference. Rangers would go to the power play. Unfortunately for the Flyers, Kreider would score again on another rebound. 3-2 Flyers still lead.
A little after, Kevin Hayes would go top-shelf to extend the lead to 4-2.
Flyers would go right back to the power play on a delay of game call on Ryan Lindgren. Rangers killed.
Period stats:
Flyers: 14 shots on goal, 7 hits, 11 faceoffs won, 2 penalty minutes.
Rangers: 10 shots on goal, 2 hits, 8 faceoffs won, 8 penalty minutes.
After two periods of play, the Flyers keep their lead, but they lead now 4-2.
Period 3
Kreider, again, would score in front, this time for the hat trick.
Joel Farabee went to the box for hooking. Rangers power play was killed. Farabee came out of the box and got a breakaway. It was unfortunately stopped by the glove of Shesterkin.
Giroux steals the puck and draws a hooking penalty. Flyers went to the PP. Rangers killed it.
Rangers pulled the goalie for an extra attacker with 2:00 remaining.
Game stats:
Flyers: 39 shots on goal (season high), 25 hits, 35 faceoffs won, 10 penalty minutes.
Rangers: 27 shots on goal, 21 hits, 20 faceoffs won, 16 penalty minutes.
