Seranthony Dominguez will return to the Phillies on a one-year deal worth $727,500

It’s about time the Phillies made a move this offseason. RHP Seranthony Dominguez and the Philadelphia Phillies have agreed to a one-year deal worth $727,500.
Seranthony Dominguez was out the majority of 2019 and all of 2020 because he needed tommy-john surgery on his elbow this summer. The Phillies delayed his tommy-john surgery due to COVID-19, so he could’ve been back for the 2020 season.
Here’s some stats from Dominguez over the last two seasons: 5-5, .327 ERA, 80 G, 82.2 IP. Dominguez has been solid over the last few seasons for the Phillies and they can totally use him in 2021.
Here are the remaining no-tenders for the Phils:
- Zach Eflin –$3.7MM
- Rhys Hoskins – $3.4MM
- Andrew Knapp – $1.0MM
- Hector Neris – $5.3MM
- Vince Velasquez – $4.0MM
