The Eagles have lost back-to-back games, their offense has struggled over the past month, and numerous negative reports have surrounded the team’s dynamic throughout the season.
So, ahead of their Monday night clash with the Chargers, the Eagles installed the “positivity rabbit” a.k.a. the “vibes bunny” into the locker room at the NovaCare Complex to increase the vibes.
“I’m not really a big, joyful, holiday person,” Saquon Barkley said on Saturday, whose locker has now been overtaken by the massive, blow-up bunny. “I was told it’s a vibe bunny, and the vibes are high.”

Now, this is not something that should really be overblown. It is just a fun thing a couple of players likely put together to boost the morale a bit. Remember Brad Miller and his bamboo with the Phillies? Same deal.
But the good vibes and positivity are certainly needed right now.
However, it may be more necessary on the sideline, according to Barkley.
“Honestly, I think it’s been awful,” Barkley said about the energy on the sideline. “I think if you ask anybody and they’re being honest, we’d all agree on that. But most importantly, I think the energy throughout the week in practice and in walkthroughs, meetings has been great. Now, we gotta carry that to game day. All the stuff has been great. Now, we gotta make sure that on game day, the energy is high, we execute and we make plays. The rest should take care of itself.”

Typically, vibes on the sidelines will be high when things are going well. And in 2025, things have not been going well. But maybe if more positivity and energy are coming from the sidelines, it can elevate the play on the field.
“We haven’t been playing well,” Barkley said. “It’s easy to come out on the sideline and have great energy when you rip off a 60-yard touchdown. It’s the truth. We know that. Execution fuels emotion. I can’t believe I never heard of that before I came here but I remember [Jeff Stoutland] saying that and I was like, ‘Wow, that makes so much sense.’ I think that’s in everything, not just in football, but in life. I’m excited for it.”
