After a momentous win for the Phillies in game three on Wednesday, Christopher Sanchez will give the Phillies another opportunity to salvage their season. The Phils’ ace did his job in game one, but it was the offense that failed to pull through. After last night, the Phillies’ offense seems to be firing on all cylinders, so Sanchez and the Phillies have a good opportunity to strike gold and make a historic comeback with more wins.

The Phillies will be facing righty Tyler Glasnow, who threw 1.2 scoreless innings in relief of Shohei Ohtani on Saturday, when the Dodgers came from behind to nab an early series lead. In the regular season, Glasnow pitched 90.1 innings and posted a 3.19 ERA in his second year with the Dodgers.

Despite his strong 2025 campaign, Glasnow has struggled historically in the postseason. In 11 outings, he is 2-6 with a 5.51 ERA in playoff baseball.

Here is how the Phillies will line up for game four:

  1. SS Trea Turner
  2. DH Kyle Schwarber
  3. 1B Bryce Harper
  4. 3B Alec Bohm
  5. CF Brandon Marsh
  6. C J.T. Realmuto
  7. LF Max Kepler
  8. RF Nick Castellanos
  9. 2B Bryson Stott

This morning, it was announced by Major League Baseball that a roster substitution was approved, placing Tanner Scott on the injured list and adding Justin Wrobleski to the 26-man roster. Scott was not at the stadium for “personal reasons” yesterday, and it was reported that he had a lower body abscess procedure.

Wrobleski faced the Phillies on September 16 and allowed five runs on five hits.

The Phillies are sending Cris Sanchez back out to the mound, so the Dodgers should have an idea of what to expect. Nonetheless, Sanchez has been one of the game’s best pitchers in 2025, and cracking his code will be no easy task for the Dodgers’ offense.

In game one, Sanchez cruised through five innings before allowing two runs in the sixth inning. He ultimately threw 5.2 innings and allowed just four hits while striking out eight batters. And as many people reminded Dodgers fans on social media, Sanchez earned three of those strikeouts against two-way star Shohei Ohtani.

Here is Dave Roberts’ plan for game four:

  1. DH Shohei Ohtani
  2. SS Mookie Betts
  3. RF Teoscar Hernandez
  4. 1B Freddie Freeman
  5. 2B Tommy Edman
  6. C Will Smith
  7. LF Alex Call
  8. 3B Enrique Hernandez
  9. CF Andy Pages

First pitch is at 6:08 p.m. ET from Citizens Bank Park on TBS. Don’t miss our pregame show, powered by FOCO, at 5:00 p.m. ET.
