Howie Roseman and the Eagles’ front office are making moves.
The Eagles signed not one but two players to one-year contracts today, with edge rusher Joshua Uche and tight end Harrison Bryant both agreeing to deals with the team.

For Uche, the deal is $1.75 million with just $750,000 guaranteed. Uche has had an up-and-down start to his NFL career since being drafted in the second round out of Michigan in 2020. Uche was selected by the New England Patriots, and after not getting much playing time in his first two seasons, he finally broke out in 2022.
In his third season, Uche had 11.5 sacks, 14 QB hits, 27 tackles, and forced two fumbles. The following season wasn’t as great for Uche, as he only recorded three sacks, six QB hits, and 15 tackles. He resigned with New England for the 2024 season, but after seven games, he was traded to the Kansas City Chiefs for a sixth-round pick.
With Kansas City, Uche struggled once again, not recording a single sack in five games with the Chiefs. Uche was then benched for the remainder of the season. Uche will now attempt to fill the void that Josh Sweat and Brandon Graham left the Eagles with.
Also, signing with the Eagles is another 2020 draft pick, tight end Harrison Bryant. It’s also a one-year deal worth up to $2 million.

Bryant spent the first four years of his career with the Cleveland Browns, backing up tight end David Njoku. Bryant recorded 791 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns during his time with the Browns.
After finishing his rookie contract, Bryant signed a one-year deal with the Las Vegas Raiders. Bryant backed up rookie tight end Brock Bowers and finished with just 86 receiving yards and zero touchdowns in his sole season with the Raiders.
Bryant joins Dallas Goedert and Grant Calcaterra in the Eagles’ tight end room, however, Goedert’s name has been in trade rumors over the past week.
