Union unveil 2025 secondary-kit, symbolizing bond between club and city

With the club set to open its season next Saturday, the Union unveiled their 2025 secondary kits Wednesday morning, called the “Voltage Kit.”

The jersey features neon bolts across the chest, representing the Union’s “dynamic, fast-paced presence on the field,” the club said in their release.

“The ‘Voltage Kit’ captures the electrifying bond between the Philadelphia Union and the city itself,” Sam Leybman, Union Director of Marketing said on Wednesday. “It embodies the energy, passion, and unpredictability that define both the team and Philadelphia. Inspired by the raw power of lightning, the kit symbolizes the spark behind every goal, pass, and moment of brilliance. Its sharp lines and bold flashes echo both the speed of a lightning strike and the creative energy of Philadelphia.”

Thomas’ returns as the front-of-kit sponsor for the secondary-kit. Bimbo, Thomas’ parent company, has been on the primary since 2011. An Independence Blue Cross patch is worn on the right sleeve of all jerseys.
