Eagles rule DeVonta Smith out for Sunday night vs. Rams with hamstring

The Eagles will be without one of their star wide receivers in Los Angeles on Sunday night.
DeVonta Smith was been ruled out against the Rams on Friday missing an entire week of practice with a hamstring injury.
Smith is the only Eagle ruled out for Sunday. Britain Covey (shoulder) is questionable.
Smith has been listed on the injury report over the past few weeks with a lingering hamstring problem. He limped off the field last Thursday and will miss his third game of his career and second this season.
Without Smith, the Eagles will have A.J. Brown, Jahan Dotson, Johnny Wilson, Ainias Smith, and possibly Covey at receiver.
But it is always hard to replace the 26-year-old’s talent. Smith has 41 receptions for 516 yards and four touchdowns this season.
The Rams pass defense has not been great this season. They allow 222.8 passing yards per game, 22nd in the NFL, 66.4% opposing completion percentage, 21st in the NFL, and 1.8 touchdowns per game, which is 25th in the NFL. So the Eagles should be ok.
The Eagles also put Bryce Huff on the injured reserved Friday. He will be out for at least four weeks after receiving wrist surgery. The hope is for him to return at some point later this season.
