Tee Higgins inactive vs. Eagles with quad injury

Rumors and news were swirling throughout the last few weeks involving Tee Higgins‘ status for Week 8 against the Eagles. Finally, we have an answer.

Higgins is inactive on Sunday with a quad injury. He had an “uphill battle” to play against the Eagles.

Higgins suffered the quad injury during practice on Friday. He randomly appeared on the injured list Friday.

Higgins missed the first two games this season after suffering a hamstring injury, the Bengals lost both of them. They average 17.5 points without Higgins. They average 28.6 with him.

Since Higgins’ return, he became a go-to guy for Joe Burrow. Through five games this season, Higgins has 29 receptions for 341 yards and three touchdowns. He has gone over 75 receiving yards in each of the last three games. He recorded 83 yards against the Ravens, 77 against the Giants, and 82 against the Browns.
