Initial thoughts of Eagles’ 53-man roster

We are 10 days away from the Eagles’ first game of the season in Brazil against the Packers.

The team released their initial 53-man roster on Tuesday afternoon. The cut deadline was at 4:00 p.m. ET.

The Eagles can start signing players to their 16-man practice squad starting on Wednesday afternoon.

A few thoughts:

• Eagles kept 22 players on offense and 28 on defense. Pretty lopsided
• Bradberry made the roster. I do not see his role, especially after his disappointing 2023. He will not be at corner, is not a good option at safety, and probably will not be on special teams. Does not make a lot of sense.
• Brown, Smith, and Dotson are the clear WRs 1-3. Will Covey get some plays? We will see.
• No RB4.
• Eagle may try and snag another TE. There are only two on the roster.
• There is no true backup center. Dickerson can play the position, but then that leaves a hole if Jurgens goes down.
