The Philadelphia Phillies took on the Minnesota Twins in the final game of their road trip and in recent Phillies fashion blew their lead late in the game leading to a Twins walk-off.

Aaron Nola took the start for the Phillies only allowing one run in 6 innings for his start.

That run came in the bottom of the 2nd when Matt Wallner homered 441 feet into right-center to give the Twins a 1-0 lead.

That lead would eventually be tied in the Top of the 5th as Trea Turner continues to stay hot with a home run to left center that tied the game up at 1-1.

Following that inning in the Top of the 6th Kyle Schwarber would hit a single into centerfield that would draw Castellanos and Stubbs in for a 2-run single, and give the Phillies a 3-1 lead.

Continuing the pressure in the Top of the 7th Nick Castellanos would slice a single into right field that would score Marsh and give the Phillies a 3-run lead.

This lead would soon crumble though in the Bottom of the 7th as the Phillies bullpen headed to work and Orion Kerkering took the mound only pitching 0.1 innings he would soon let up 3 runs.

The first scoring play would come off the bat of Kepler as he would find himself a base off of a fielder’s choice at second giving enough time for Castro to score and the rest of the runners to advance.

The final scoring play of the inning would be off of a Santana double to left that scored Kepler and Larnach to tie the game up late at 4-4.

In the Bottom of the 9th, off the pitch of Gregory Soto, Kepler would reach first base off an infield single that would score Larnach giving the Twins a walk-off win, and the Phillies a lot to think about entering the trade deadline.
