The Phillies are the most dominant team in MLB right now. It’s not even close. The Phils doubled their win streak up to 6 straight games and hold a 2-win advantage as the best team in baseball.
After each day, the excuses of an easy schedule become harder and harder to justify for Phillies haters across America.
MV3 Season?
Bryce Harper is back, and better than ever. After his historic 2023 postseason, he has carried this success into the regular season.
Harper has been nothing short of the elite, sitting at a .288 BA, 12 HRs, 37 RBIs, and a .934 OPS. This ranks him 7th in the league in homers and RBIs, and 11th in OPS.
This is a massive breath of fresh air for the Phillies after Harper really struggled to get going during the 2023 regular season.
Ranger for Cy Young?
Did you want a breakout season for Ranger? You’ll get that and then some. Ranger notched his 9th win on the season (league-best) in one of the first of the Phillies 5-2 wins against Texas. He went 7 innings allowing just 1 run, adding another dominant performance to his dominant season.
If Ranger Suarez wants to win the Cy Young his main competition will be the Japanese Phenom Shōta Imanaga.
Shōta Imanaga has an MLB-best 0.84 ERA and a WHIP of 0.93. The NL Cy Young race is positioning itself to be one for the ages.

The Phillies are breaking records in no small way with this historic start. The Phillies are 29-6 in their last 35 games and the last time this happened was 1892. Yeah, 1892. To put that into perspective.

Off to the Mountains
The Phillies’ next series should be an easy one, as they travel to the Rocky Mountains to play 3 games against the Rockies.
The Rockies are one of the worst teams in the league sitting at a rough 16-32. The last time the 2 teams squared off it was a relatively uneventful sweep for the Phillies. Great chance we see the Phillies grab their 40th win of the season in Denver this weekend.
