The 141st Opening Day roster in the history of the Philadelphia Phillies has been set.

Pitchers: Jose Alvarado, Connor Brogdon, Seranthony Dominguez, Jeff Hoffman, Yunior Marte, Aaron Nola, Luis Ortiz, Gregory Soto, Matt Strahm, Ranger Suarez, Cristopher Sanchez, Spencer Turnbull, Zack Wheeler

Infielders: Alec Bohm, Bryce Harper, Whit Merrifield, Bryson Stott, Edmundo Sosa, Trea Turner

Outfielders: Cristian Pache, Brandon Marsh, Johan Rojas, Nick Castellanos

Catchers: J.T. Realmuto, Garrett Stubbs

Designated Hitter: Kyle Schwarber

10-Day IL: Rafael Marchan (lower back pain)

15-Day IL: Taijuan Walker (right shoulder soreness), Orion Kerkering (right forearm strain), Dylan Covey (right shoulder strain), Michael Rucker (right-hand arterial vasospasm)

Not sure if I can point out a single surprise in here. Turnbull will fill in the rotation while Walker is out. When Turnbull and Kerkering return to the bullpen, either Ortiz, Brogdon, or Marte will be optioned. The Phillies will just go with the hot hand.

Other than that, this roster probably will not change drastically any time soon.

The season begins Friday at 3:05 p.m. at Citizens Bank Park where Wheeler will face Spencer Strider and the Atlanta Braves.
