The Sixers lost to Milwaukee 114-105 on Thursday Night in a disappointing late-game effort. Philadelphia was only down 3 with a few minutes left, but the Bucks were able to hold on, delivering the finishing touch on a deep Brook Lopez three with only about a minute remaining.

Philly had a comfortable lead for the majority of the game, but the Bucks took it away from them in the final few minutes. This was Milwaukee’s 43rd win and the 76ers’ 30th loss.

If Joel Embiid comes back for the playoffs, the Sixers will be eternally grateful as they have won less than a third of their 30+ games without him. Outside of Tyrese Maxey who scored 30 points Thursday night, they have played horribly and really need to regroup.

Philadelphia had multiple opportunities to win the game and run away with it, but they just fell up short. In the first half, they scored 61 while only putting up 44 in the second half. The Bucks are now in 2nd place in the East and Philadelphia has fallen into the Play-In Tournament as the 7 seed.

With only 16 games remaining, they need to really pull things together and make a Playoff push.
