Jake Elliott is one of the best kickers in the NFL and the Eagles’ history. They are not letting him go anywhere.

Elliott has agreed to a four-year, $24 million extension that will keep him under contract through the 2028 season. At the end of this extension, Elliott will be 34 years old. With this, Elliott and Justin Tucker are both the highest-paid kickers in NFL history, each with a $6 million average per year.

Elliott is well worth this amount of money as he is coming off his best season. In what was an epic collapse, the special teams units were really good and Elliott was a significant part of that.

In 2023, Elliott went 30-for-32 in field goal attempts, for a career-high 93.8 field goal percentage. He also made 7-of-8 field goals from 50+ yards, including a 61-yard game-winner in Week 3 against Washington and a 59-yarder to send the Eagles and Buffalo Bills to overtime.

The 28-year-old is already third in Eagles history in points with 775 behind just David Akers (1,323) and Bobby Walston (881). He is second in field goals made with 168 behind Akers’ mark of 294. And he already holds the record for 50+ field goals made with 27, including the playoffs. Elliott has a real chance to become the best kicker in franchise history and climb these leaderboards and set more records.
