The James Harden-less 76ers seem to be just fine without him, with Tyrese Maxey, Kelly Oubre, Tobias Harris, and Joel Embiid all stepping up and playing their roles perfectly. This marks the fourth game in a row that resulted in a Sixers win, their only loss being against Milwaukee in the season opener. The red-hot 76ers have been a monster in the East, defeating Pascal Siakam and the Toronto Raptors (twice), De’Andre Ayton and the Trailblazers, and now Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns. Philadelphia’s singular loss to the Bucks was by only 1 point, so clearly the Sixers have not left town just yet.

So who were the X-Factors against the Suns?

Joel Embiid had an excellent game, scoring 26 points along with 11 rebounds. He did all this with getting little to no minutes in the fourth quarter as they had already almost solidified the win. Kelly Oubre Jr. on the other hand put up an outstanding 25-point performance in his second game starting for the Sixers and Tobias Harris had a great game with 18 points and 10 rebounds. The birthday boy, Tyrese Maxey, had 22 points, 10 assists, and 5 rebounds.

Clearly, this team isn’t scared of tough competition, and they should not be counted out just because of the James Harden trade. Philadelphia takes on the Washington Wizards at 7:00 P.M.EST on Monday Night in the Wells Fargo Center.
