The Philadelphia Eagles are looking to sweep the Washington Commanders today in Landover, Maryland at 1:00. Back in Week 4, the Commanders to Philly to Overtime where the Eagles held onto a 34-31 victory. Clearly, the Birds are going to want to win a little easier today, but anything can happen.

So what’s the story for today’s game?

The Eagles are rather clean on the injury report, as their only somewhat big injury is Bradley Roby. This shouldn’t end up affecting Philadelphia that much since now Kevin Byard is in the secondary. Kevin Byard is one of the best safeties in the league and an immediate impact will be felt when he’s on the field. Byard, a Philly native, is a 2-time Pro Bowler and 2-time First-Team All-Pro. Howie Roseman made the shocking move to trade for him on October 23rd, surprisingly only giving up a fifth-round pick, a sixth-round pick, and Terrell Edmunds.

Jalen Carter is active today along with James Bradberry, Milton Williams, and Zach Cunningham despite being limited in practice earlier in the week. Jalen Carter has made a huge impact with Philadelphia this year and could possibly win Defensive Rookie of the Year. A weak Commanders offensive line will have issues dealing with Carter, as well as Fletcher Cox, Jordan Davis, Brandon Graham, and Hasson Reddick.
