Union To Host NYCFC In Eastern Finals

Ladies and gentlemen, set the date for next Sunday at 3:00pm ET. The Philadelphia Union will host New York City FC at Subaru Park.
MLS’ 2021 Supporters Shield Winners, the New England Revolution, were eliminated in another playoff penalty shootout by NYCFC. As we have seen before by the Union themselves, the Supporter’s Shield does not guarantee playoff wins.
With this loss, one of my favorite players, Tajon Buchanan, who scored the Rev’s game tying goal late in the second extra time, just played his last MLS game and will head to Europe next season.
On the other hand, NYCFC star Valentin Castellanos will be unavailable against the Union due to a red card against the Rev’s.
It’s coming home.
