Doc Rivers will coach Team Durant in NBA All Star Game

Before Friday night’s game, Philadelphia 76ers’ head coach Doc Rivers was asked about possibly becoming an All Star Game coach, he responded with four simple words of pure honesty.

With the Sixers’ 112-105 win over the Chicago Bulls, Rivers has secured his spot as the head coach for Team Durant in this year’s NBA All Star Game in Atlanta, Georgia.

 Utah’s Quin Snyder will coach Team LeBron out of the West.

Rivers could coach his star center Joel Embiid, who will be an All-Star starter and dropped 50 points on the Bulls on national television to help make his MVP case Friday night.
