Jason Peters Will Be Moving To Right Guard As Jordan Mailata is Moving Back To Left Tackle.

Jason Peters will be moving to right guard as Jordan Mailata is moving back to left tackle.

Jason Peters has been absolutely awful at right guard. According to NBC Sports Philadelphia’s John Clark, “Peters has been giving it his all and has been playing through turf toe. It got aggravated when he was rolled up on in Cleveland. It is his point foot, his left foot, which is so important for a left tackle.”

Jason Peters is 38 years old, this is his 17th season in the NFL, and he’s not the same. It’s time for a bit of a change. To bring in 23 year old Jordan Mailata is a great choice and a good job by the Eagles.

The Eagles brought Peters back for this season to play right guard, but they moved Peters to left tackle when Andre Dillard was injured and lost for the season. Peters has started six games at left tackle this season.

Mailata, who was drafted in 2018 as a seventh-round draft pick, has started five games earlier this season at left tackle when Peters was on IR. He is now going back to left tackle.
